The new ASUS – Google Meet hardware kit includes the compact ASUS – Google Meet Compute System, which is designed with a magnetic chassis for easy installation and the ports all on one side for efficient cable management, while the slim design allows for installation in environments with restricted access. To ensure long-term reliability under prolonged use, the newly designed Meet Compute System is built and tested to exceed industry requirements.
The ASUS – Google Meet hardware kit also comes with a touchscreen control panel for one-touch meeting management and a high-quality, dual-purpose speakermic that employs echo-cancellation and noise-suppression technologies to deliver crystal-clear audio.
Additional speakermics can be easily daisy-chained to ensure that, even in larger rooms, everyone can hear and be heard. Powered by an Intel Core i7 processor and with support for 4K UHD video, it also offers dual-band 802.11ac WiFi, and extensive connectivity options that allow the device to be connected to multiple displays simultaneously.
The modern magnetic-chassis design with wall-mount make it easy to attach to the back of a monitor or up to the wall for a clean, tidy setup. In order to ensure reliability and stability, the newly refreshed Compute System is tested with strict criteria that exceed industry standards. A new desk stand is also now included to accommodate any type of installation.

Google Assistant is now in beta on ASUS – Google Meet hardware kits. This smart tool allows users to manage conference calls using speech controls alone. Hands-free voice features enabled by Google Assistant include the ability to start calls, as well as join or exit an ongoing meeting.
The addition of seamless voice controls further elevates Google Meet hardware kits above traditional teleconferencing systems, and these Google Assistant voice-control features are currently available only in beta on ASUS – Google Meet hardware kits.
Google Meet premium features are now free for all G-Suite users till September 30
Google is offering free access to the premium Google Meet video-conferencing capabilities to all G Suite and G Suite for Education customers globally including:
Larger meetings, for up to 250 participants per call
Live streaming for up to 100,000 viewers within a domain
The ability to record meetings and save them to Google Drive
These features are typically available in the Enterprise edition of G Suite and in G Suite Enterprise for Education, and will be available at no additional cost to all customers until September 30, 2020, so ASUS – Google Meet hardware kit users are able to experience G Suite free of charge, offering a welcome introduction to the best meeting solution.
