Cooler Master has just launched a new series of PC PSUs. The new MasterWatt Lite 230V Series of PSUs aims to appeal to those looking for a reliable, affordable power supply with some high-end perks for greater stability. Cooler Master will initially be selling four models in its MasterWatt Lite range, with 400W / 500W / 600W / 700W power ratings.

These 80 Plus Standard 230V EU Certified PSUs feature an advanced circuit design with Active PFC + PWM combined with dual forward topology and double EMI filters to deliver efficiency (typically 85 per cent) and stability. Inside the PSUs a Cooler Master 120mm HDB temperature control fan spins quietly.
0.5W system standby
Cooler Master has built the MasterWatt Lite series to be compliant with new ErP regulations so your PSU uses less than 0.5W on system standby in normal situations. Furthermore, efficiency is greater than 82/85/82 per cent at 20/50/100 per cent load to fulfil the strict EU617/2013 regulations, said to now be mandatory in Europe.
A full set of protections including OCP/OVP/UVP/SCP/OPP with built-in Over Temperature Protection (OTP) are present.
