Gimp 2.8.22 Released – Install Gimp On Ubuntu 17.04

GIMP 2.8.22 released. Install GIMP on Linux Ubuntu Systems. GIMP 2.8.22 comes with an improved drawing performance in single window mode, especially with pixmap themes. Install GIMP 2.8.22 On Ubuntu

Before you begin the installation of GIMP 2.8.22, please remove the installed version of GIMP using the following command:

$ sudo apt-get remove gimp

Now run the following command to install GIMP 2.8.22 on Ubuntu:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gimp

Once installed, open GIMP from Ubuntu Dash or Terminal
