Honor Magic V2: unboxing and comparison with other smartphones

The new folding smartphone, Honor Magic V2, has already been reviewed by foreign publications and bloggers who have had the chance to use it and share their first impressions. They have provided a look at the contents of the package and compared it to other devices.

As shown in the video above, the phone comes with a back case that has a built-in stand, a 66W power adapter, and a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable. The video also demonstrates the size and visibility of the crease on the main screen.

When folded, the Honor Magic V2 is only 9.9mm thick, which is not much bigger than the 7.9mm-thick iPhone 14 Pro. This makes it the thinnest folding smartphone in the world. The company representatives have stated that the hinge of the device is made of 67% patented steel, which is 25% thinner and 20% stronger than the material used in the original Magic VS.

Currently, the Honor Magic V2 has only been announced for the Chinese market, with prices starting at $1,254.
