This document provides information about Intel’s Graphics Driver for 4th Generation Intel Core Processors with Intel HD graphics, Intel Iris graphics and Intel Iris Pro graphics and select Pentium/Celeron Processors with Intel HD graphics for Microsoft Windows 8.1, Windows 8 and Windows 7 operating systems.
What’s New:
Intel graphics drivers now accessible to 3rd party EDID tools
- It is now possible to use 3rd party EDID utilities to manipulate EDID settings to create custom modes. This feature is for advanced users only.
Fixed Issues:
- Black screen or app crash may happen when system kept idle with “turn off the display” and show the home page which uses JavaScript
- Slow transition from one page to another is seen when running a custom application
- Corruption seen during Fifa ’17 game play
- Missing text characters in the sentence
- Memory Leak in paging pool causing app failure while running JavaScript in monitor off conditions
Known Issues:
- Doom 3 – Corruption is seen in the main menu and in the intro of the game
- Two active taskbars sometimes seen when hot unplugging DP monitor in extended mode
- Corruption seen on Outlook 2013 reports
- Hitman Absolution game stops after cinematic when quality settings are high
- Green corruption seen with Overlay + YUV +xvYcc/YCbCr enabled on HDMI
- Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain- Corruption on water
- Angry Birds – Corruption is seen During Maximizing & Minimizing
- Overlay application does not work when opening it in dual display configuration with a tiled display and eDP
