Samsung SmartThings Find will help you quickly find your lost Galaxy devices

Samsung today announced the launch of SmartThings Find, a new service that will help users quickly and easily locate Galaxy devices. After beta testing the SmartThings Find service in Korea, the U.K. and U.S, Samsung is now expanding it globally on devices running Android 8 or later. SmartThings Find uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and ultra-wideband (UWB) technologies to help people find select Galaxy smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and earbuds.

SmartThings Find can locate your connected Galaxy devices even when they are not connected to the internet. Thanks to SmartThings users who can now opt in to securely use their Galaxy smartphone or tablet to help others locate their lost devices.

You can update the SmartThings app on Galaxy smartphones and tablets running Android 8 or later around the world today to use the SmartThings Find service. From early next year, Samsung will expand these capabilities to tracking tags, which will help users locate their favorite items.
