Windows 10 Pro for Workstation Announced for High-Performance PCs

Back in June, a leaked Windows 10 build revealed a Workstation edition for advanced PCs, though that name had not been finalized at the time. Rumor just becomes true on August 10 when Microsoft makes it official by announcing the Windows 10 Pro for Workstations.

As Microsoft has put it,

Windows 10 Pro for Workstations is a high-end edition of Windows 10 Pro, comes with unique support for server grade PC hardware and is designed to meet demanding needs of mission critical and compute intensive workloads.

The new SKU of Windows 10 Pro for Workstation was created based on the feedback from Windows Insiders and will officially launch with the Windows 10 Falls Creators Update later this year.

It’s unknown how much this performance-centric operating system is going to cost but if you are the one thriving for more power and computer performance, Windows 10 Pro for Workstation might be the one you have been dreaming for.
