Zoom launches OnZoom, a comprehensive video-based service marketplace

Today, Zoom announced that they are jumping into the virtual event space with a public beta for OnZoom, designed to allow both small and large companies and individuals to sell experiences to both small and large audiences.

Designed for business owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations of all sizes who want to continue providing services to their customers, Zoom says OnZoom simplifies the whole process.

The service is an extension of Zoom’s unified communications platform and offers a comprehensive solution for paid Zoom users to create, host, and monetize events like fitness classes, concerts, stand-up or improv shows, and music lessons on the Zoom Meetings platform.

It is not known if this feature will be granted the same exception Apple has offered Facebook Marketplace for a similar service.
