2 Ways To Open Edge In InPrivate Mode In Windows 10

When you are browsing the web in Edge or any other web browser, the web browser saves a lot of information on your PC. It saves your browsing history, saved passwords, websites cookies, and other personal data which you enter in web forms.

All web browsers out there help you to manage this data and even allows you to delete all these data when you want to do so. But what if you want to browse the web privately without saving any data on your PC?

If you want to make sure that Microsoft Edge doesn’t save browsing history and other data, you can use the InPrivate mode. The InPrivate mode is very similar to the private mode in Firefox and Incognito mode in Chrome.

When you browse the web in InPrivate mode, Edge doesn’t save the history of websites you visited, temporary files, cookies and other data at the end of the session. All these files will be deleted at the end of the browsing session. In short, InPrivate mode temporarily saves some data when you are browsing but these data will be deleted at the end of the session.

Microsoft Edge’s InPrivate window displays InPrivate at the top left of the window so that you can easily identify the InPrivate window. All tabs open within this InPrivate window are InPrivate tabs and will not save any information at the end of the session.

When the InPrivate window is open, you can open the normal tab in the normal window of Edge if you want to browse the web as you would usually do.

The InPrivate mode is useful when you are browsing the web on a shared PC. That said, please remember that your network administrator and network provider can monitor all activity if they want to.
