Alienware Unveils AW2524H Gaming Monitor With A Fast 500Hz IPS Panel & 24.5-Inch Screen 1

Dell announced today through their Alienware gaming brand that they have released their latest monitor for gamers, the Alienware AW2524H, with a 500Hz refresh rate and IPS display.

The Alienware AW2524H is the world’s first IPS 500Hz gaming monitor with 0.5ms response times, now available for $829.99 US

The Alienware AW2524H is the world’s first 500Hz IPS gaming monitor. The monitor was first unveiled at CES 2023. Users can expect little to no lag and motion blur with its 0.5 milliseconds response time so that every moving image looks clean and crisp and enhances your gameplay to allow you to game at your best.

Alienware’s new AW2524H gaming display is compatible with NVIDIA’s Reflex Analyzer, which measures the end-to-end system latency of your display by use of a compatible mouse to optimize the preciseness of the users’ response times.

The display is also VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified with an sRGB of 99% color coverage to produce “lifelike visuals and immaculately lucid hues.” Users can game for several hours without worrying about eye strain with the incorporated TUV-certified ComfortView Plus Low Blue Light hardware solution to reduce the emissions from blue lights without affecting the picture quality. Alienware’s new AW2524H is NVIDIA G-SYNC certified to ensure users’ gameplay is tear and stutter-free with clean and crisp visuals.

Alienware’s AW2524H has drawn inspiration for its integrated Legend 2.0 design to provide a fully adjustable stand fitted with height adjustment markers and a hexagonal base for a smaller desk footprint. Users can also expect to be able to customize the monitor through Alienware’s AlienFX lighting. For those users who need somewhere to rest their headsets, the monitor offers a retractable headset hanger.

For connectivity, the Alienware AW2524H comes with a diagnostic port, two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort port, a joystick to control the onscreen menus, four SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps 3.2 Gen 1 ports (one for charging, one for downstream, and two for upstream), audio jack, a Kensington Security Slot, and a line-out port. The new display offers VESA-certified mounting as well.

Dell offers their Premium Panel Exchange program, allowing users a free panel replacement if it falls during the Limited Hardware Warranty period. The company assures users that if only one bright pixel is found, they will maintain it during that period.

Dell’s Alienware AW2524H gaming monitor also comes with the company’s three-year Advanced Exchange Service “so that if a replacement becomes necessary, it will be shipped to you the next business day during your 3-year Limited Hardware Warranty.”
