High quality Galaxy Z Fold3 renders bring all the rumors to life

Straight off the bat, we don’t have any live photos or official images of the next Galaxy Z Fold as of yet. This render is probably the next best thing, though, since Ben Geskin is known for his quality work in the field and does appear to have based his design on most of the leaked information we already have on the alleged Z Fold3.

In no particular order, one of the first things that pops-out here is the distinctive camera island design, clearly lifted straight from the Galaxy S21 Ultra. This is actually a pretty fair guess to make, since Samsung does have a track record of transferring the general styling across its device families. Most-notably the S and Note lines, within a generation. We can’t really be sure that the camera modules themselves or their placement will be identical on the Z Fold3, though. In fact, due to the challenges and space constraints of the form factor, we can likely expect a slightly downgraded main camera setup on the Fold yet again.

Speaking of space constraints, we have been seeing hints of S Pen support on the next Z Fold for quite some time now. While most of us naturally assumed that that entails a stylus that slides inside the body of the phone, now that Samsung has set a precedent with the S21 Ultra and its entirely separate and optional S Pen, many have started wondering if perhaps the Korean giant will go that route instead. Seemingly Ben Geskin thinks so as well, since the pictured S Pen is way too big to feasibly fit inside the phone’s body.

Again, this is just one artistic vision. One of the more-recent rumors we’ve heard on the Z Fold3 claims that it will feature smaller displays than its predecessor – 7.55″ inner screen (down from 7.59″) and 6.21″ outside one (down from 6.23″). Allegedly, that sacrifice will be necessitated precisely in order to fit an S Pen inside the phone’s body. So, that remains a possibility as well.

Another potentially expected feature of the Z Fold3 in an under-display camera. Though it’s a bit hard to tell, this too appears to be incorporated in Ben Geskin’s renders.

If the grape vine is to be believed, we can expect to see the Galaxy Z Fold3 in June this year, allegedly with a price tag comparable to that of the current Galaxy Z Fold2.
