One of the first side quests you can start in Hogwarts Legacy is called Gobs of Gobstones. Zenobia Noke, a Hogwarts student, will ask you to help find her Gobstones, which have been hidden around the castle and are out of the girl’s reach. You can tackle this mission anytime during your adventure, but it is quite fast to complete and will help you get familiar with the map, so try not to neglect it. As a reward, you will receive a brand-new wand handle.
How to start Gobs of Gobstones side quest
You need to speak to Zenobia to start the Gobs of Gobstones quest. The student can be found in the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower; she will be standing near the stairs and a statue. Talk to her, and agree to find the Gobstones.
Gobstone locations in Hogwarts Legacy
The lost Gobstones are six in total, and you can check the map to see their approximate location. A purple circle will delimit the area in which to search. If you need some extra help, you can activate the Charmed Compass, which will lead you to each spot.
Gobstones can be tricky to notice as they are hidden in areas that can only be reached with a spell. Don’t worry, however. You can check the information below to quickly find them in the game, and remember that you can also use Revelio to highlight them. Once you find a Gobstone, cast Accio to get it.
Gobstone #1 – Transfiguration Courtyard
The first Gobstone is right above the arches in the Transfiguration Courtyard. More specifically, you need to look southeast, and you will see it.
Gobstone #2 – Divination Classroom Floo Flame
The second Gobstone can be found near the Divination Classroom Floo Flame location. Pass through the door on the right of the flame, and keep walking until you turn the corner. Look in the direction of the wooden beams, and you will notice the Gobstone.
Gobstone #3 – Divination Tower
Get back to the Divination Classroom Floo Flame, and keep climbing the stairs. When they end, look towards the ceiling. You will notice a giant chandelier. The third Gobstone is placed on it.
Gobstone #4 – Ravenclaw Tower
Reach the Ravenclaw Tower using the Charmed Compass if you need it. Once you find the approximate location of the fourth Gobstone, look southeast toward the ceiling. You will notice it standing on one of the columns.
Gobstone #5 – Outside the Trophy Room
The fifth Gobstone is just outside the Trophy Room and near the Ravenclaw Tower. A Floo Flame can be found in this location. Look west, and you will notice it on the top of one column.
Gobstone #6 –Trophy Room
The sixth and last Gobstone can be found inside the Trophy Room. Enter it and walk towards the north. You will find it on a shelf.
Once you have collected all Gobstones in their respective locations, you must bring them back to Zenobia to complete this side quest. You will receive a wand handle you can equip from the Gear menu as a reward.
