Honkai Star Rail: Lynx Kit, Best Build, Light Cones & Teams Comps

Lynx is a 4-star Abundance character with the Quantum damage type, and she is one of the best F2P healers in Honkai Star Rail. She features a diverse healing kit featuring AoE and Single target heals, and vital debuff cleansing. She can sustain through most of the game’s challenging content if built correctly. Here is everything you need to know about Lynx kit and how you can best build Lynx to sustain your team.

Who is Lynx in Honkai Star Rail?

Lynx

As per the Honkai Star Rail lore, Lynx is the youngest daughter of the Landau Family and is a renowned environmental explorer. She is also introverted and soft spoken. The Landau Family is a noble family in Belobog.

Lynx last featured in the second phase of the Honkai Star Rail 1.5 update, with Argenti and Silver Wolf, and her next banner is still unknown. If you have missed out on her banner, you can get her by finishing any phase of the 2nd Stage of Pure Fiction game mode from Honkai Star Rail 1.6 update. Lynx was released in the 2nd phase of version 1.3, on September 20, 2023.

Lynx’s Kit And Cycle Rotation (At Max Level)

Lynx features a good range of healing abilities and a strong AoE debuff cleanser. She is the only F2P debuff cleansing healer, easily making her one of the best sustains in the game. Let’s look at her kit and see how to play her properly.

  • Ice Crampon Technique (Basic Attack): Deals flat Quantum Damage to a single enemy, equal to 65% of her Max HP.
  • Salted Camping Cans (Skill): Restores health by 14% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 410 of a single ally and applies Survival Response on them, lasting for 2 turns. Survival Response increases the Max HP of the ally by 8.75% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 256. Additionally, if the target ally is from the Path of Destruction or Preservation, then the chance of them being attacked by enemies greatly increases.
  • Snowfield First Aid (Ultimate): Restores health of all allies by 15.75% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 461. Additionally, Dispels 1 debuff from all allies.
Lynx
  • Outdoor Survival Experience (Talent): After using Lynx’s Skill and Talent on allies, apply continuous healing on them for 2 turns, restoring health by 4.2% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 123, at the start of each turn. Allies with Survival Response will restore additional health by 5.25% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 154.
  • Chocolate Energy Bar (Technique): Grants all allies her Talent’s continuous healing effect at the start of the next battle, lasting for 2 turns.

Lynx’s skill is a strong single target heal, which increases the Max HP of allies and also applies continuous healing. Furthermore, at Eidolon 2, allies with Survival Response from her Skill can also resist debuffs for 1 turn.

Her Skill also increases the aggro for Destruction and Preservation characters (who you want to get hit), keeping your other allies safe. Her Ultimate is the main highlight of her kit, which is an AoE heal and can cleanse one debuff from each ally.

The following is going to be her ideal cycle rotation:

Skill > Basic Attack > Skill > Basic Attack, and use her Ultimate for reactive heals or when you need a team-wide debuff cleanse.

Best Lynx Builds: Relics, Planar Ornaments & Sub Stats

Lynx is a good F2P healer in Honkai Star Rail, but you must have the correct Relics and Stats to make her solo sustain in end-game content. Here are the best Cavern Relics and Planar Ornaments with their best main and sub-stats for Lynx.

Relics for Best Lynx Build

Best Relic Set for Lynx
Best Relics for Lynx
  • 2-piece Longevous Disciple and 2-piece Passerby of Wandering Cloud (Best for Lynx)
  • 4-piece Messenger’s Traversing Hackerspace (Good for Speed Buffs)

Her best Cavern Relics are going to be a mix of 2-piece Longevous Disciple and 2-piece Passerby of Wandering Cloud. This will increase her Max HP and her outgoing healing. Other than that, you can also use the 4-piece Messenger’s Traversing Hackerspace, for some extra speed buffs for Lynx and the team.

Planar Ornaments for Best Lynx Build

  • 2-piece Fleet of the Ageless (Best for Lynx)
  • 2-piece Broken Keel (Best Alternative)
  • 2-piece Penacony, Land of the Dreams (Best for Mono Quantum teams)

For her Planar Ornaments, a 2-piece Fleet of the Ageless is perfect for her, as it increases her Max HP and buffs the attack of all allies. Besides that, the 2-piece Broken Keel is also a good alternative, as it increases her Effect Resistance and buffs the Crit Damage of all allies.

You can also use the 2-Penacony, Land of the Dreams for Mono Quantum teams, as it will increase the quantum damage of all allies while increasing Lynx’s Energy Regeneration.

Best Main and Sub Stats

Relics Main / Sub-Stat
Head HP / HP % > Speed = Effect RES % > Defense
Hands Attack / HP % > Speed = Effect RES % > Defense
Body HP % = Outgoing Healing Boost / HP % > Speed = Effect RES % > Defense
Feet Speed > HP % / HP % > Speed = Effect RES % > Defense
Planar Sphere HP % / Speed = Effect RES % = HP > Defense
Link Rope Energy Regeneration Rate / HP % > Speed = Effect RES % > Defense
Lynx Main and Sub Stats for her Relics and Planar Ornaments

Regarding main and sub-stats, stack as much HP %, Speed, and Effect Resistance as possible on Lynx. As she scales on HP entirely, increasing her Attack is unnecessary. You can also add Defense to make her tank damage better.

  • Post-Op Conversation (Best for Lynx): Increases Energy Regeneration rate by 8% (16% at S5) and Outgoing Healing when using Ultimate by 12% (24% at S5).
  • Perfect Timing (Best Alternative): Increases Effect Resistance by 16% (32% at S5) and Outgoing Healing by 33% (45% at S5) of Effect Resistance of the wearer, up to a max of 15% (27% at S5).
  • Quid Pro Quo (Best F2P): Regenerate 8 Energy (16 at S5) for a randomly chosen ally with Energy lower than 50% (excluding the wearer), at the start of the wearer’s turn.

When it comes to Light Cones, leaving aside the obviously good 5-star options, Lynx has many great 4-star options. The Post-OP Conversation increases her Energy Regeneration Rate, letting her use Ultimate more frequently, which is a big part of Lynx’s kit.

Perfect Timing is also good as it prevents Lynx from getting debuffed, which in turn allows her to debuff cleanse her allies. Quid Pro Quo can also be a good F2P option if you want to regenerate the energy for the other team members.
