How much is Microsoft Copilot pricing?

Microsoft finally dropped the hotly-anticipated announcement about Microsoft Copilot pricing during its Inspire 2023 event this week. About time!

If you’re not familiar, Microsoft Copilot is a generative AI tool that can help you with a variety of tasks, including writing/summarizing emails on Outlook, drafting a document on Word, creating presentations on PowerPoint, and more on other 365 productivity apps.

When it becomes widely accessible, Microsoft 365 Copilot will cost $30 per user per month for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium subscribers, the Redmond-based tech giant declares in an announcement.

“Copilot can generate an update from the morning’s meetings, emails, and chat threads to send to the team; get you up to speed on project developments from the last week; or create a SWOT analysis from internal files and data from the web,” says Colette Stallbaumer, General Manager at Microsoft 365.

If you remember, earlier this year, in June, the Redmond-based tech giant rolled out Copilot for Windows Dev insiders through Build 23493

Meanwhile, Windows 11’s natively built-in browser, Edge, has also begun introducing a mechanism similar to Copilot. As observed by Windows enthusiast @Leopeva64, Microsoft has started incorporating functionalities that allow users to manage browser settings through word prompts on the Bing chat pane located on the right side of the screen.
