If you want to root your Galaxy S23, you first have to unlock the bootloader, and today, I will walk you through how to unlock the Galaxy S23 bootloader.
Unlocking the bootloader used to be a complicated procedure involving a command prompt, but Samsung, along with other OEMs, has made things a lot easier. The process of unlocking the Galaxy S23 bootloader only takes a couple of minutes. The same method works for all Galaxy S23 models, so feel free to go ahead if you want to.
Unlock Galaxy S23 Bootloader if you want to root your phone and customize it
Note: If you unlock the Galaxy S23 bootloader, you will lose all your data. So, be sure to make a backup.
If you haven’t already enabled Developer options, you must first do that. Check out the steps below. If you have, just perform the 6th step, and move on to the next part.
Step 1: On your Galaxy S23, head over to Settings.
Step 2: Scroll all the way down and tap on About phone.
Step 3: Now tap on Software information.
Step 4: Once there, tap the Build number 7 or 8 times until you get a toast message saying you’re now a developer.
Step 5: Go back to Settings, scroll all the way down, and you’ll find Developer options.
Step 6: Look for OEM unlocking toggle and turn it on.

Step 1: Turn off your Galaxy S23.
Step 2: Once the phone has turned off, press and hold the volume up and volume down buttons, and connect your phone to your PC using a USB cable.

Step 5: From there, you simply have to press the volume up button to confirm.
