iPhone concept shows an unusual notch design

The iPhone community is currently concerned with one question: what will the next iPhone generation look like?

Concept designer Antonio De Rosa has reimagined the design of the iPhone to accommodate the notch – where components such as the front camera and Face ID technology are housed – in a different way. Instead of a notch in the middle, De Rosa envisions removing the notch from the display and integrating it into the housing instead. This creates an unusual offset design.

In this design, the screen on the left takes up the full height of the phone, while the notch sits above it in an asymmetrical design.

De Rosa’s design is daring and it is highly unlikely that Apple would ever consider such a design. We imagine a phone a protrusion like that would be easy to damage.
