itel Pad 1 launched with 10.1″ screen, 6,000 mAh battery, and LTE connectivity

itel, a part of the Transsion group, launched a new tablet in India dubbed itel Pad 1. It’s priced at INR12,999 ($160/€150) and will be sold in India through online and offline stores with two color options – Deep Grey and Light Blue.

The itel Pad 1 flaunts a metal design and packs a 10.1″ 1,280×800-pixel IPS display. It has the Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC at the helm with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable by up to 512GB via a microSD card. The tablet runs Android 12 (Go Edition) out of the box, but there’s no word on future software updates.

The itel Pad 1 features two cameras – an 8MP camera on the front and a 5MP camera on the rear. It also has Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity, with the latter enabling users to make 4G calls.

Fueling the entire package is a 6,000mAh battery charged through a USB-C port at up to 10W. The rest of the itel Pad 1’s highlights include dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, and FM radio support.
