Microsoft announces partnership with Aptos Labs for Web3 technology

Microsoft Aptos Labs

Aptos Labs, a leading blockchain platform for web3 development, has announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to integrate its Azure OpenAI Service into the Aptos network. This integration will enable Aptos developers and users to access the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning on the decentralized web.

Aptos has built a robust, scalable, and secure blockchain network that supports a wide range of applications and use cases across various sectors, from social media and gaming to DeFi and NFTs. Aptos has also developed its own programming language, Move, which allows developers to write smart contracts with ease and confidence. Move ensures that the code is safe, reliable, and verifiable, and that the end-user experience is seamless and enjoyable.

By partnering with Microsoft, Aptos Labs is giving developers access to the best-in-class AI technology that can enhance their applications and services on web3. Aptos Labs will introduce Aptos Assistant which will operate as a responsible, user-friendly and secure assistant bridging web2 to web3 for the everyday internet user and organization.

The integration of Microsoft’s AI into the Aptos network is a significant milestone for web3 adoption and innovation. It will lower the barriers to entry for web3 exploration and development, and enable more people to participate in and benefit from the decentralized web.

Aptos Labs and Microsoft are not alone in their quest to build a better internet. They are joined by a growing community of partners, collaborators, and supporters who share their vision and values. Some of these include Google Cloud, Mastercard, NBC Universal, Kyd Labs, NPIXEL (METAPIXEL), MoonPay, Franklin Templeton, and more.

“Artificial Intelligence and blockchain technologies are quickly converging for one important reason: they are both generational breakthroughs that profoundly impact the evolution of the internet and shape society,” said Mo Shaikh, CEO of Aptos Labs. “Together with Microsoft, our shared vision is to ensure that this technology is accessible to more people and organizations than ever before.”

“The intersection of AI and blockchain is one of the most interesting combinations of emerging technologies and can generate transformational use cases,” said Rashmi Misra, General Manager, AI & Emerging Technologies, Microsoft. “By fusing Aptos Labs’ technology with the Microsoft Azure Open AI Service capabilities, we aim to democratize the use of blockchain enabling users to seamlessly onboard to Web3 and innovators to develop new exciting decentralized applications using AI.”
