Microsoft Lists uses SharePoint Lists, providing access to the information saved with the app via web, a mobile app, or from Microsoft Teams. Businesses can use it to track issues, manage inventory, create agendas, and more. The key features noted for the app:

Microsoft Lists is a Microsoft 365 app that helps you track information and organize work. List are simple, smart, and flexible, so you can stay on top of what matters most to your team. Track issues, assets, routines, contacts, inventory and more using customizable views and smart rules and alerts to keep everyone in sync. With ready-made templates, you can quickly start lists online, on our new mobile app, or with Microsoft Teams. And because it’s part of Microsoft 365, you can rely on enterprise-ready security and compliance.

The app comes with plenty of templates, each of those include different structures, input forms, and rules. Rules are simple if->then statements that can be used to create notifications or change list values. The user can create his own template, or import it from an Excel document. Lists support 3 default views: grid, gallery, and calendar, and allow customizing them.

Microsoft Lists is expected to become available this summer to Microsoft 365 subscribers on the web, as a mobile app, and in Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
