A thread of internal emails from the FTC v. Microsoft details the possibility, as spotted by Tom Warren of The Verge.
In July 2021, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella sent an email to Xbox chief Phil Spencer, Kareem Choudhry, head of cloud gaming at Microsoft, and Sarah Bond, head of Xbox creator experience, after hearing rumors that Google was turning Stadia into a white-label cloud gaming service for developers to run their games on.
Spencer said yes, and that Microsoft would be able to offer this service to other companies as well.
In case you missed it, Microsoft has inked 10-year partnerships with several companies. The list includes Nvidia’s GeForce NOW, Nware, EE, and others.
Plus, last year, the Redmond-based tech giant added mouse and keyboard support for Xbox Cloud Gaming in beta testing, but only for games that were originally designed for Xbox consoles.
