OnePlus Ace 3 Pro launch imminent, key specifications tipped

OnePlus Ace 3 launched in China earlier this year and was rebranded as OnePlus 12R for global markets. The company appears to be working on a Pro model, dubbed the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. This will succeed the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which was unveiled in August last year. Now, tipster Smart Pikachu has shared some key details of the phone.

OnePlus Ace 3 Pro hardware details tipped

  • According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
  • The chipset is said to offer superior performance and a more refined user experience.
  • The company is apparently testing a 24GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage variant.
  • The tipster says the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will feature a curved display, probably sourced from BOE.

Earlier leaks suggest the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will come with a metal middle frame and a glass back panel. While the launch timeline is not revealed, the flagship might debut in the first half of 2024. We are inclined to believe that OnePlus might accelerate the launch to keep its portfolio large with more options for customers.

Separately, OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus Ace 3 Genshin Impact special edition on February 28th. Genshin Impact RPG game is available on Android, iOS, PS4, and PS5. This special edition will come with a customised design and UI. The teaser image suggests the phone will come with a purple colour hue. We should know more details soon.
