OPPO Reno 8T 4G Spotted on Geekbench Database; To Come with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and 8GB RAM

Oppo is expected to launch a smartphone under its Reno 8 lineup – the Oppo Reno 8T. The upcoming Reno 8T with model number CPH2481 was earlier spotted on the SIRIM certification. Now, we have spotted the Oppo Reno 8T on the Geekbench benchmark database. The Geekbench benchmark database listing reveals some of the key specifications of the upcoming Reno series smartphone.

The Oppo Reno 8T will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and 8GB of RAM. The smartphone has already cleared the Bureau of Indian Standard certification, so it could launch in the Indian market as well. Let us take a closer look at the details.

The Oppo Reno 8T with model number CPH2481 has made an appearance on the Geekbench 5 benchmark database. The smartphone managed to score 554 points in the single-core round of the benchmark test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, the score was recorded as 1873 points. The listing further reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with 2 + 6 core configuration. Out of these 2 cores are clocked at 2.2GHz and the remaining 6 cores are clocked at 2.0GHz.

This database listing also reveals that the Oppo Reno 8T will rely on Mali G57 graphics unit. Based on all these, it appears that the Oppo Reno 8T will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor. This is the same processor that powers several mid-range smartphones including the Realme 10, POCO M5, Redmi 11 Prime, Infinix Note 12 Pro, and more.

The Geekbench benchmark listing also confirms that the Oppo Reno 8T will come with 8GB of memory. We can also expect the company to launch the device in other memory configurations as well. The smartphone will come pre-loaded with the latest version of Android, that is Android 13, but as usual, expect to see ColorOS 13 skin on top of it.
