Samsung’s Latest Galaxy M55 5G Spotted on Google Play Console Database Before Launch

Samsung is preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G smartphone. 91Mobiles has spotted the upcoming smartphone in the Google Play Console database.

The upcoming Samsung smartphone with the SM-C5560 model number has been seen on the Google Play Console database. However, the marketing name isn’t visible in the listing. Previous reports suggest that it could debut with the Galaxy C55 moniker. The Galaxy C series smartphone is purported to be a rebrand of the Galaxy M series smartphone for the Chinese market.

The listing further states that the smartphone with the SM-C5560 model number will be a rebrand of the smartphone with the SM-M556B model number. The SM-M556B model number is associated with the Galaxy M55 5G smartphone.

The Google Play Console database shows that Samsung’s smartphone will sport a Qualcomm chipset with the SM7450 model number. The codename reveals that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The octa-core chipset features four Kryo 770 cores at 2.4GHz, four Kryo 770 cores at 1.8GHz, and an Adreno 644 GPU.

The Qualcomm chipset will pair with up to 8GB of RAM, and the device will run on Android 14 out of the box. Samsung will equip the smartphone with an AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 450 PPI.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: What We Know So Far

Mukul Sharma, a tipster on X (formerly Twitter), reveals that Samsung will debut the smartphone in black and blue. The Galaxy M55 5G is also tipped to debut with a triple camera setup on the rear.

Past certifications obtained by the device revealed that it will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.
