The global launch of Oppo Reno11 series is rumored to take place on January 11

Oppo has announced the mid-range Reno11 and Reno11 Pro for the Chinese market in November, and it now appears that the company is preparing to unveil their global counterparts.

According to a usually reliable tipster on X, the launch for India and global markets could take place on January 11 – which, might we add, would be very appropriate (Reno11 on January 11, get it?).

The international Reno11 is rumored to have the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, a slightly changed camera bump compared to its Chinese counterpart, and support for 67W SuperVOOC fast wired charging.

On the other hand, it is said that the international Reno11 Pro will use either the Dimensity 8200 or the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, with 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging in tow. Both should have a 32 MP telephoto 2x optical zoom camera on the back, just like their Chinese counterparts.

Oppo’s Malaysian arm is already teasing the duo with a sales start date of – you guessed it – January 11. The Chinese Reno11 comes with a 6.7-inch 1,080 x 2,412,120 Hz OLED display, the Dimensity 8200 SoC, 8/12 GB RAM, 256/512 GB storage, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide, the aforementioned 32 MP telephoto, a 32 MP selfie snapper, and a 4,800 mAh battery.

The Chinese Reno11 Pro has a slightly larger 6.74″ display with 1240 x 2772 resolution, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 at the helm, a slightly wider main camera (24mm vs 26mm) with multi-directional PDAF, and a 4,700 mAh battery, otherwise identical to its non-Pro sibling.

Be sure to take these specs with a pinch of salt regarding the international models, as Oppo sometimes likes to change things up between its Chinese phones and those sold globally. Either way, we will surely find out more in a few days if the launch is indeed going to happen on January 11.
