Watch Dogs: Legion Online Multiplayer Delayed To Next Year, New Patch Drops Tomorrow

Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs: Legion’s online multiplayer mode now releases early next year so that the studio can center its immediate efforts on fixing issues with single-player.

The studio shared a blog post announcing that the delay gives the team the chance to “focus on fixing issues with single-player,” as well as “more time to test the Online experience to help ensure a smooth launch of the mode.” An exact release date for Watch Dogs: Legion’s online multiplayer has not been specified.

Ubisoft also confirmed that Watch Dogs: Legion will get a new patch on November 26 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S / Series X. Update 2.20 adds a manual save button to PC and addresses a host of bugs. Some bug fixes include stabilizing the game to reduce load times and improve performance, ironing out issues resulting in crashes or corrupted data, and further optimizations.
