iQOO Neo 7 India Variant to Offer up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM; AnTuTu Score Reveals

iQOO Neo 7 is set to launch in India on February 16. The company has confirmed the launch date of its next Neo series smartphone in India already. The Neo 7 5G launching in India will be different from the one available in China. The Neo 7 5G India variant will launch as a rebadged version of the Neo 7 SE 5G from China. iQOO has already confirmed some specifications and features of the phone.

The latest teaser confirms the RAM and storage details of the Neo 7 5G. As expected, the Neo 7 5G will offer up to 12GB of RAM. Let’s take a look at the iQOO Neo 7 5G specifications, features and other details known so far.

iQOO Neo 7 5G Indian Variant RAM and Storage Details

The Indian variant of the iQOO Neo 7 5G will launch with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. iQOO confirmed the details on the official event page while revealing the AnTuTu score of the phone. The Neo 7 5G is claimed to score over 8,90,000 points on AnTuTu and is claimed to outperform the Dimensity 8100 and Snapdragon 870 SoC by quite a margin.

In addition to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, the Neo 7 5G will also offer virtual RAM support of up to 8GB. iQOO claims that the combination will help users run as many as 36 apps in the background. We can expect iQOO to launch the phone with an 8GB RAM option with 128GB storage as well.

The company has also confirmed some other details about the phone. The phone will feature support for 120W fast charging out of the box. In comparison, the Indian variant of the Neo 6 5G came with 80W fast charging support. The company has also confirmed that the Neo 7 5G will feature a full-size 3D Cooling System.

The phone will launch in India with two colour options — Blue and Grey. There will be a tall 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The Full HD+ screen has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.

The Neo 7 5G will pack a 5000mAh battery. It will also sport a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 64MP primary camera sensor. If the phone is indeed a rebadged Neo 7 SE 5G from China, the Neo 7 5G India variant will feature a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Yes, for a phone that could cost about Rs 30,000 for the base model will not feature an ultra-wide camera. The device will get a 16MP front camera as well.

In terms of software, we can expect the Neo 7 5G to run Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of FuntouchOS 13 on top of Android.
