OPPO Reno 8T series is set to make its global debut soon. The company has confirmed to launch the Reno 8T series in the Philippines in February. The Reno 8T 4G will launch in the country on February 8. There is also the Reno 8T 5G rumoured to launch. However, the teaser video does not give us any glimpse of the 5G smartphone. The teaser video confirms that the Reno 8T 4G will launch in two colour options.
Claimed to be the “Portrait Expert”, the Reno 8T 4G will also feature a triple-camera setup on the back. Let’s take a look at the OPPO Reno 8T 4G specifications, features and other details known ahead of the launch.
OPPO Reno 8T 4G Launch: Specifications and Features Known So Far
The OPPO Reno 8T 4G will launch as a new mid-range smartphone in the Philippines. The phone is expected to launch soon in India. OPPO is yet to confirm the launch date of the Reno 8T in India. Meanwhile, the teaser video confirms that the Reno 8T 4G will have a triple-camera setup on the back. The rear camera has two circular cutouts. The upper cutout has one camera sensor and what looks like the orbit ring light. The other two sensors and LED flash are placed inside the secondary circular cutout.
The rear panel comes in two colours and finishes. The orange colour variant has a faux leather back, whereas the black colour option has a plastic back. The phone will have a curved frame and back.
Other details of the Reno 8T 4G are already known. The phone is said to feature a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC under the hood. There will be 8GB of RAM as well. OPPO is expected to launch the phone with up to 256GB of storage. The phone will have virtual RAM support of up to 4GB. There will be a 6.67-inch flat display at the front. The bezels around the display are fairly narrow, except for the thick chin.
The leaked camera details suggest that the phone will have a 100MP primary camera. It is said to be accompanied by two 2MP sensors. There will not be an ultra-wide camera. The Reno 8T 4G is likely to offer a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

There will be a 5000mAh battery under the hood. The phone is said to support 67W fast charging out of the box. It will boot Android 13 out of the box. The device will have a layer of ColorOS 13.1 on top of Android.
